Ayesha, Founder

  • BSc.Kin, MScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.)

    Hi, I’m Ayesha Raza, OT Reg. (Ont.), the founder of Cubhouse Pediatric Therapy and a Registered Occupational Therapist with specialized training in neurodiversity-affirming practice, emotional regulation, sensory processing, and fine motor development. I’m deeply passionate about helping children build confidence through therapy that is playful, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s strengths and needs.

Caitlin, OT

  • BASc (Child, Youth & Family Studies), MScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.)

    Caitlin is a Registered Occupational Therapist with a background in child development and a strong passion for neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based care. She believes therapy should feel safe, playful, and meaningful, and focuses on helping children build the foundational skills needed to participate confidently in their everyday lives.

    Her approach is grounded in understanding each child’s unique nervous system, strengths, and needs. Caitlin works closely with families to create therapy experiences that are supportive, empowering, and functional beyond the session space.

Manroop, OT

  • BSc (Life Sciences, Honors), MSc Physiology, MScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.)

    Manroop is a Registered Occupational Therapist with a background in psychology and human biology, with a strong desire to enable children with diverse needs and abilities to achieve their goals and participate in what is meaningful to them to the fullest degree possible. She believes therapy that is centred around the individual child and their unique needs is key to problem-solving obstacles and developing skills for success, in addition to strengthening the child’s self-efficacy.

    Manroop’s various educational and practical experiences spanning different contexts and a broad scope of responsibilities inform her therapeutic approach, which she strives to keep evolving with the most recent evidence-based research and training.

Jasminder, OT

  • BA (Honours) Health & Society/Comms, MScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.)

    Jasminder is a Registered Occupational Therapist with a strong passion for pediatrics and mental health. She has experience working with children and families across a variety of roles and settings! Jasminder is committed to providing occupational therapy services that meet the unique and holistic needs of families through a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming, and play-based approach. Her aim as an OT is to build strong, trusting relationships with clients and families to empower them in achieving their goals.

Christina, SLP

  • Christina is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for working with children, youth, and young adults with and without exceptionalities. She centres her practice around a child-centred approach - following the child’s lead and prioritizing the relationships she builds with them above all else, understanding that communication and willingness to do so starts with comfort.

    Christina strives to find and highlight the voice in every child she works with, encouraging any and all modes of communication and fostering those that best suit them. She creates a therapy environment that is understanding, motivating, and a safe space for her clients to express themselves, whether that be verbally, gesturally, or through an augmentative communication device.

    Christina supports children and young adults with:

    • Developmental delays affecting speech, language, play, and early learning skills

    • Speech sound disorders, including articulation, that impact clarity and intelligibility

    • Motor speech disorders, such as childhood apraxia of speech and dysarthria, including those related to cerebral palsy or neurological differences

    • Rare genetic and chromosomal conditions

    • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, such as learning to use or becoming proficient in various systems

    • Neurodivergent diagnoses working on communication, social interaction, and self-advocacy

    • Complex communication needs involving multiple diagnoses, medical conditions, or sensory-motor challenges

    Christina is passionate about being a lifelong learner and continuing to further her knowledge to deliver the best possible care and counselling to her clients. She intends to expand her training in:

Madisyn, Psychotherapist (Qual.)

  • BA, Adv. Diploma (Fine Arts)

    RP (Q), DTATI (candidate) 

    Madisyn is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and art therapy student with experience supporting children, adults, and older adults in both community and 1-on-1 settings. Her clinical experience includes working with children navigating grief and loss, where she uses art-making as a supportive way for young clients to express emotions, process experiences, and build coping skills when words may be difficult to access. Madisyn emphasizes creating a safe, flexible, and collaborative environment where children can explore their feelings through play, imagery, and creative materials. In addition to her work with children, Madisyn has experience supporting adults navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and the impacts of poverty and systemic stress, as well as facilitating art-based engagement with older adults in long-term care settings

Victoria, OTA

  • Victoria is a graduate of the accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) program at Georgian College, with experience supporting individuals across the lifespan with diverse physical and cognitive needs. She is passionate about creating engaging, play-based activities that help children build independence, confidence, and essential life skills in a way that feels natural and fun.

    Victoria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph, providing her with a strong foundation in human behaviour, emotional regulation, and development. She values the role of meaningful activities in therapy and enjoys tailoring interventions to each child’s unique interests and strengths.

    She is interested in further training in

    • Sensory Processing and Emotional Regulation

    Outside of work, Victoria enjoys playing softball and soccer, exploring the outdoors, and expressing her creativity through knitting and crochet. She also loves board games like Codenames and Catan, and dumplings are her favourite food.

Alia, OTA

  • Alia is a graduate of the accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) program at Humber College, with 4 years of experience in a fast-paced hospital setting supporting individuals with complex physical needs. She brings a strong background in motor re-learning and task-specific training to help clients regain independence and confidence in their daily activities.

    Alia also holds a specialist degree in Health Studies from the University of Toronto, providing her with a solid foundation in health promotion, patient-centered care, and evidence-based practice. She is skilled in functional training and individualized treatment planning, and is known for delivering creative, engaging interventions that make therapy both effective and enjoyable.

    She is interested in further training in

    Outside of work, Alia enjoys slowing things down with simple comforts. She loves baking sweet treats and watching movie marathons, and is an active member of a book club where she enjoys hosting monthly discussions. She also enjoys sightseeing and going on long drives to explore new places. Despite her adventurous side, she has a fear of birds, no matter how small or harmless they may seem!

Luxmeena, OTA

  • Lux is an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA EAP) with over three years of experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, and developmental delays in therapeutic, educational, behavioural, and recreational community settings. She is passionate about creating engaging, play-based activities that help children build independence, confidence, and functional skills. Lux has completed training in Health Behaviour Change (Alison – Empower Yourself Program) and Trauma and Violence Informed Care (TVIC) through Western University, EQUIP Health Care, and the University of British Columbia.  She is interested in further training in  Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Sensory Processing and Emotional Regulation.

    Outside of work, Lux enjoys yoga, cardio and strength training, playing pickleball, and vlogging. 

Mehakpreet, OTA

  • Mehakpreet Singh is a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) with experience supporting children with ADHD, ASD, Cerebral Palsy, and learning disabilities across clinical and community settings. Mehak is a dedicated Therapist Assistant with extensive experience providing school-based pediatric rehabilitation. Working under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist, he implements structured interventions that bridge the gap between clinical goals and classroom success. Mehak specializes in self-regulation, executive functioning, and fine motor skills, utilizing play-based therapeutic approaches to foster social interaction and functional engagement. His collaborative approach ensures that teachers, caregivers, and inter-professional teams work in harmony to optimize every child's developmental outcomes.

    He is passionate about creating a supportive, motivating environment and designing engaging, play-based sessions that help children build independence, confidence, and functional skills.

    Mehak is interested in further training in

    Outside of work, Mehak enjoys staying active through walks, spending time with his dog, and exploring new places.
